Hilde Van Mieghem (°1958)
While graduating as an actress at Sudio Herman Teirlinck in 1980 Hilde Van Mieghem made her acting debut in the feature film Vrijdag, directed by Hugo Claus.
Meanwhile she has played leads and significant roles in more than seventy Belgian and international films and TV-series, including Blond Dolly, Sailors don’t Cry, Mijn Papa-Mama, Kafka, Moeder Waarom Leven Wij?, Kuchnia Polska, Wildgroei, Rossini, En Vacances, Der alte Affe Angst, Bluthochzeit, The Team, Tabula Rasaand most recently, Spider in the Web with Ben Kingsley.
Also on stage Hilde made her marks. Lulu (KVS), Les Amants Puérils (Théâtre National), Het Begeren onder de Olmen (TGA), Kruistochten (TGA), I am a Mistake (Jan Fabre Cie) and Kinderen van de Zon (NTG-TGA) are some amongst many other notable productions comprising her performance.
