Charlotte Timmers (°1988) started her career as Lena Sebelius in the TV series Vermist.
In the VRT drama series Beau Séjour she portrayed the character of Sofia.
Her striking talent for comedy was instantanuously noticed with her performances in the sketch program Wat Als?
And so was her popularity amongst the Flemish television audience.
She played minor parts in Hasta La Vista, Plan Bart, Helden van de Zee andVerborgen Verlangen as well as a guest role in Jan Eelen’s series Callboys. She also contributed to the success of several shorts.
Recently she wrapped leads in the Dutch series Commandos and in Marc Punt’s crime series Fair Trade. Charlotte confirmed her comedy talent with the part of a MU-artist in the series about the fictional history of Flemish commercial television: Studio Tarara.
In the 18th century costume drama series De Bende van Jan de Lichte (aka The Flemish Bandits) she portrays a noblewoman amidst a gang of robbers.
This prestigious series will be broadcast by Netflix as well as by VTM soon.
Presently Charlotte is preparing intensively for the female lead in Robin Pront’s next feature Zillion.
