Wouter Hendrickx (°1975) graduated in 1997 at Studio Herman Teirlinck. He played in theatre productions of companies such as BRONKS, Blue four LAIKA, HETPALEIS, KVS, SCENIC, HOUSE THEATRE Ro (en), Walpurgis, the Roovers, Lampe. He wrote and directed for Theater Stap.
In 2001, he debuted on the big screen in the feature film Falling by Hans Herbots next to Koen De Bouw, Alice Krige & Jill Claighburgh. In 2009 he appeared in the controversial picture The Misfortunates even known as De Helaasheid der Dingen as the character of Uncle Petrol. For this he was honored by the Flemish Film Awards with the price of Best Actor in a supporting role. He continued this momentum in 2010 with a starring role in the award-winning film Oxygen. Other film roles followed: Het Vonnis, Brasserie Romantiek, Plan Bart... His best known television lead and supporting roles are those of Inspector Dimi Tersago in Witse, Felix Bolle in Jes and Jokke in Cordon. Wouter played several guest roles in the series Flikken, Recht op Recht, Het eiland, Windkracht 10, Aspe, De Smaak van De Keyzer and Code 37. His latest lead role was the role of Mathieu in the VTM series Amigo's.
